I have experience in managing, concept development and designing innovative interactive experiences for digital media projects positioned at the intersection of brand and commerce. My unique blend of entrepreneur zeal, understanding of business goals and objectives, web development experience and a passion for a human-centric design approach enabled me to design sites that were functional, desirable, economically and technically feasible.

I have been involved in many unique and innovative high traffic e-commerce projects for clients such as The North Face, VANS Custom Shoes, Lancome Paris, Quidsi's & (Amazon). The,, and were featured on the Internet Retailers Hot 100: Best Retail Websites.

I received a Master's degree from the School of Information at the University of California at Berkeley. During my studies, my primary focus was on the user-centered design process with an emphasis on information architecture, usability and user interface design. In addition, I received the Management of Technology (MOT) certificate through the Haas School of Business and earned the James Chen Award for the Most Outstanding Final project in Social Information Systems. Prior to my academic career, I worked professionally as a web developer creating database driven websites working both as part of a team and as an independent consultant.

When I'm not designing, you will find me windsurfing, surfing, mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, climbing or fly fishing.
